Happy Father's Day!
This year for Father's Day, we took Dada back to where we went to 2 years ago, Sandbanks Provincial Park. It was a very nice short drive and the weather couldn't be any better, sunny and breezy. Last time we were there, unfortunately we were greeted by lots of aphids. But not this time!
There was also a park right by the beach, and Chocho loves the slide. We must've spent the first hour at the park just cuz he loves to slide down again and again, with Dada, too. Luckily Dada still fits in the slide and was able to come out in one piece everytime.
The main reason why we went back is so that Dada could try to relive what he did 2 years ago with Chocho. And that is to lift him high up in the air. He even wanted them both to wear the exact same outfit they did then (yes, complete with the bib). Luckily, Chocho's outfit still fits. Well, sort of.
Here's the first try of lifting him up.
After a few tries & alot of pain, this is as close as it gets to the picture from 2 years ago.
Two years ago:
Well, all in all, it was a nice family outting. We also stopped over at the Apple Farm in Colborne and picked up a yummy apple pie on the way home. Dada & Chocho tried to feed Larry the Lama some corn, but got rejected for some hay instead.
This is how he looked 2 years ago with the Lamas...hahaha...practically no hair! :)
