We have a liar brewing:

Dada: "Nick, did you have your breakfast yet?"
Chocho: (watching TV) "ya."
Dada: "What did you have?"
Chocho: (watching TV) "uh.. grilled cheese sandwich."
Dada: "Oh really? Who made it for you?"
Chocho: (watching TV) "uhm... Mama did."
Dada: (confused, Mama still upstairs. Dada started to walk upstairs)
Chocho: (got off the couch) "Don't ask her, ok Dada?!"

Bath Time!

My ultimate all time favourite moment of the two of them. I've got to keep taking these bath-together pictures before they realize that it's "wrong" to have a bath together, at which point no more fun for Mama. Hehehehe...

Lauren's party

Lauren, Chocho's old friend from daycare, just turned 4 and held her party at the same place Nicholas did. We went there and the kids had some more crazy fun time again.

Jasmine

This is Jasmine's favourite thing to do these days, next to walking backwards (moonwalk), and walking with her eyes closed.

My little girl & I

It's different having a daughter. Not that I don't enjoy having a son. Nicholas is now old enough to be my companion. I always like to bring him to the mall with me whenever I go shopping. I make him give me opinions on stuff I want to buy and he actually chooses the outfits for me. He's got pretty good taste... he takes that after me, of course. *ahem* *ahem* ;)

But having Jasmine is completely different. I find myself shopping alot for her. I can't stop looking at cute little dresses and colourful tops. Lately I've been buying her shoes, and I know she's only going to grow out of it within months but I can't seem to stop doing it. Hopefully Jasmine & I will be shopping buddies when she grows up. (Bad news for Dada. HAHA!)

OOOoo Happy Day!

We went to visit my brother at his new place and his builder was giving out free BBQ lunch. They also had jumping castle set up for the kids to play right next to the playground. Big brother Chocho was pushing Jasmine at the swing and they were both having a blast. Dada was in heaven because he had unlimited free hotdogs and burgers for lunch. It was a happy day indeed for everybody!

Happy 1st Birthday, Jasmine!!!

Today is Jasmine's 1st birthday! It feels like it was only yesterday when we were celebrating her 1 month birthday. Jasmine is growing up so fast, I really need to learn how to freeze time.

Jasmine now has 8 teeth, and is walking monster style (arms up in the air). :) She is keen in walking all over the place now, and she likes to babble too. She can now do little tricks like peek-a-boo, waves bye, does blow kiss, blows when I tell her to, gives high-fives, and kisses when asked to. She likes to make the kissing noise, too.... " mmmmm-waahhh". :) She is still a picky eater, and her hair is still very wispy. Wish it was longer already though.

Chloe came over for her birthday, and they were playing and hmm-ing at each other. The last time they met they were only a few weeks old and they were both asleep. :) Now they're both walking and clawing each other's eyes out!! Chloe has such nice hair! Hope Jasmine and Chloe can hook up more often in the coming future. :) Baby Justin also came to join in the fun, but Jasmine was too tired by then and left her guests to go for a nap. We will have to do this playdate again soon! I really want to have Jasmine and Justin picture together since he's 4 months younger but much bigger than Jasmine!

We continued the celebration with the family over the weekend. Boy was mama & dada tired! But it was definitely very fun indeed. This is how it's going to be every year from now on, especially with their birthdays being so close to each other. :)

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not...

Continuing with the Black Eyed Susans story, this is what she was doing with them when she finally got the flowers. :)

Jasmine's playdates

Jasmine had a playdate with Malcolm, my friend's son who was born in June this year. We went out to the mall for some mom & babies singing class and we gave them a ride home afterwards. Here they are in the backseat of our car.

Jasmine is thinking: "Hmmm, shouldn't he be the one driving me home since he's the boy??"

Labour Day weekend 2009 - part 2

We really took advantage of the last long weekend with the nice warm weather. We also went to Scarborough Bluffs hoping to find some large open field so Chocho & Dada can fly the kite. Chocho was having fun overload, he couldn't stop screaming happily!










Here they are flying a kite. And when it was Chocho's turn to fly a kite, notice how he is the one giving Dada instructions!! :)
