So here's a recap of what's happened so far.
Chocho's vocabulary is expanding. He likes to say "infinity" alot. The other day he was talking about his weight alot, which is currently 55lbs. He then blurted out "your weight is infinity, right mama?" I could not say anything back to him as he caught me offguard. The first thought I had in mind was Dada laughing his head off had he been there to hear the ridiculous comment!!! *GRUMBLE @#% GRUMBLE!!!*
Chocho is now pretty good at reading and writing. He is starting to memorize alot of math as well.
Every Saturday morning he goes to his Sportball class at the community center, and he loves it. He plays a different sport each week.
Jassie is now 16 months old and is very very active. She is a daredevil girl. She climbs everything, jumps off things, dances, turns and twists and laughs alot. At only 24lbs, she is a handful!!! She is starting to say words like "Dada", "Shoes", "zoo zoo" (susu/milk in Indo) . The rest of the time she's still talking in alien words. :) Her eating habits are a little better. She is just starting to accept "real" food and is not just eating baby cereal all the time.
Chocho and Jassie are starting to grow and become aware of what being siblings is all about. Yes, they are now starting to fight, just like what other siblings like to do. And most of the time, Jassie is the one who starts the fight. :) She would come up to Chocho out of nowhere, whacks him on the head, pushes him and yells. For no reason. :) I'm sure all the guys reading this are all nodding your heads & thinking "yes, she's a true girl alright." Like Dada said, Chocho is the Gentle Giant. He's the calm, sweet guy, who hardly picks a fight with his little sister. In fact, there were a couple of times when Chocho tried to stop Jassie from doing something she shouldn't be doing, yet he got bitten by her. And Jassie bites hard. Poor guy cried pretty hard when she bit him!
Aside from the occasional fights, Chocho and Jassie love each other. When Jassie wakes up in the morning, she'd run to Chocho who is still asleep, and kisses his head. "HMMMMM-WAHH", she always makes that noise when she kisses. Before going to bed, they both would always give each other hugs and kisses. When Jassie is all dressed up, Chocho never fails to acknowledge it... "awww.. what a pretty little princess!!!" These guys are very funny and very cute indeed!!
