Mother's day 2014

It's my 9th mother's day season and things couldn't be any better.

Jasmine started wishing me mother's day wishes before the weekend started. And when she woke up in the middle of the night (super early mother's day morning), she whispered "happy mother's day" with her eyes closed shut into 2 little lines.  Nicholas woke me up really early that morning and gave me a bear hug while I was still in bed. The two made me mother's day cards and wrote how much they love me.  Jasmine made a teapot card at school decorated with blings all over.  It even came with a teabag for me to drink and have a relaxing day.  Nicholas drew pictures for me all over the card.  And Dada took us out for a nice dinner.  It was a really nice mother's day with the family.

Here they are my mother's day fairies. It's funny how they are showering me with mother's day goodness and yet they are the reason why I get to celebrate mother's day.

Happy mother's day to all moms (and dads too, let's face it there are tonnes of Dads who perform the motherly duties).  And happy mother's day especially to my mom who we miss dearly but we know she's still with us today.
