Happy 3rd Birthday, Nicholas!

Today Nicholas turns 3. Time flies. Can't believe we've been parents for 3 years now. It is another quiet birthday for Nicholas this year because he is about to be a big brother. Mama & Dada have too many things to do and too little time. No parties, but we still managed to give him what he requested - birthday noodles and birthday cake with candles to blow. So tonight, I made the noodles and Dada baked the cake.

Dada: "Happy Birthday Nick!"
Chocho: "Happy Birthday!" "Thank you Dada!"
Dada: "how old are you?"
Chocho: "thwee"
Dada: "how old were you yesterday?"
Chocho: "two"
Dada: "What do you want for your birthday?"
Chocho: "I want I want lots and lots presents"
Dada: "What presents?"
Chocho: "What?"
Dada: "What presents do you want?"
Chocho: "Uhh.. trains.."
Dada: "What kind of trains?"
Chocho: "Gordon. I want Gordon. Gordon presents."
Dada: "But you already have Gordon"
Chocho: "I want Gordon presents. Not Edward presents. I want lots and lots presents."
Dada: "Do you want your birthday cake, too?"
Chocho: "Yes"
Dada: "What colour do you want your birthday cake to be?"
Chocho: "Uh...yellow."
Dada: "What other presents do you want?"
Chocho: "Uh, car presents too. Lightning Mcqueen, Mater, and Sally. And the policeman."
Chocho: "is my cake ready yet?"

Nicholas had lots of fun opening his presents, and he also loved singing the birthday song and blowing the birthday candles. Thank you Uncle Ka & Aunty Corrie for the gifts, the cool pic and the awesome slideshow, too!!!
